The purpose of infant mental health services is to promote a strong parent/child attachment which in turns supports the well- being and growth of the child, caregivers, and family unit.

Services include:

  • Supportive counseling.
  • Developmental guidance.
  • Parent-infant psychotherapy.
  • Developmental assessment of the child.
  • Referral to additional services.

Infant Mental Health services will help anyone who has concerns about their adjustment to pregnancy and parenting, is experiencing postpartum depression and/or anxiety, desires support around parenting issues, and/or is concerned about their infant’s temperament, behavior, growth, and development.
