Yoga for Mamas, a Postnatal & Prenatal Yoga Class

This is a postnatal and prenatal yoga class honoring pregnancy, motherhood, and our children. Class is held in a warm, supportive space encouraging participants to share their pregnancy and postpartum journey with each other. Pregnant women and moms with babies up to one year old are welcome.
After you’ve had a baby, this postnatal yoga class can be the perfect way to help you gain strength, get some of your pre-baby shape back, feel more relaxed and balanced, and connect with other moms and babes. Hygeia’s postnatal yoga class (sometimes referred to as postpartum yoga) is designed for mom & infant to enjoy together. Gentle yoga poses, breathing exercises, and taking delight in our infants is the focus of each class. Hygeia recommends joining class four to six weeks after the birth of your baby and, as with all exercise, check with your midwife or OBGYN prior to joining.
Yoga for Mamas meets Monday mornings 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
